DispoTag Approved for Southwest

DispoTag, maker of low-cost shipment tracking tags that provide independent proof of delivery, today announced that its tracking tag has been approved by Southwest Airlines for transport in air cargo, effective July 31, 2026.

After reviewing DispoTag's technical data and supporting documentation, Southwest Airlines added the DispoTag tag to its list of electronic devices approved for carriage in cargo shipments.

The approval means shippers can now include the DispoTag tag inside packages transported on Southwest Airlines aircraft — enabling independent, network-verified delivery visibility for cargo moving through Southwest's network, in full compliance with the carrier's device policies.

The DispoTag tag is a low-power Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacon that carries no cellular, GPS, or Wi-Fi radio.
