DispoTag Approved for United

DispoTag, maker of low-cost shipment tracking tags that provide independent proof of delivery, today announced that its tracking tag has been approved by United Airlines for transport in air cargo, effective October 29, 2026.

After reviewing DispoTag's technical data and supporting documentation, United Cargo's Specialty Products Quality Assurance team added the DispoTag tag to its list of electronic devices approved for carriage in cargo shipments.

The approval means shippers can now include the DispoTag tag inside packages transported on United Airlines aircraft — enabling independent, network-verified delivery visibility for cargo moving through United's global network, in full compliance with the carrier's device policies.

The DispoTag tag is a low-power Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacon that carries no cellular, GPS, or Wi-Fi radio.

The United approval follows Southwest Airlines' approval of the DispoTag tag in July 2026 and is the second in a series of air-carrier approvals DispoTag is pursuing to expand where its tags can travel.
